Star-Spangled Singer Search

Pennsylvania residents can submit a video of an a cappella performance for a chance to sing the National Anthem LIVE at the fair! Entries are open to soloists, duos, and groups of all ages, now through May 5, 2026

Read the rules for details, and email the YouTube link to your video to anthemcontest@schnecksvillefair.com for a shot at the spotlight!

Fan voting will take place on Facebook from May 12 to 21.

Children's Coloring Contest

Our coloring contest is open to children from 2 to 12 years of age. Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in 4 age categories. See the flyer/coloring page to the left for more info and submission instructions, including the due date. (Info appears on p. 2. The document can be downloaded and/or printed from the bar at the bottom of viewer.) All entries will be displayed during the fair.

PSACF Apron Contest

Pennsylvania residents may participate by creating a unique and memorable apron "Showcasing Fairs and Carnivals." The contest will take place during regular exhibit judging and entries will be displayed during the duration of the fair. Our first place winner will be eligible to enter their apron in the statewide contest held at the PA Farm Show in January 2027 (top prize $250)!

Baking Fresh Muffins

King Arthur Flour Baking Contest: Muffins

Bake your favorite muffins using King Arthur flour to win gift certificates for King Arthur's Baker's Catalogue! Entries will be judged on taste, texture, and appearance/creativity. (Judging will be held during regular exhibit judging and will not be open to the public.) There are separate classes for juniors (age 8-17) and adults (18+).

Children's Pedal Tractor Pull

This event is open to kids aged 5 to 12, weighing between 35 and 100 lbs. Contestants are divided into 6 classes by weight and boys and girls pull in the same class. (Classes are determined at time of weigh-in on site, the day of the contest.) Cash awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class.

Daily Facebook Photo Contest

Each day of the fair is a new contest with a new theme. Add a photo you took at the fair that day to the announcement post on our Facebook page to be eligible for cash prizes. Winners are chosen based on the number of "likes" for each photo.
